JERRY SHER

Founder & CEO

Jerry is the founder of AMP Physical Therapy. He believes in a dynamically holistic approach to healing injuries using his orthopedic and sports physical therapy training background. Looking at the bigger picture while addressing the root cause is about finding balance to bring you back to your best self. 

When Jerry is not at work, he loves to be active whether it's playing pickleball, volleyball or spontaneously breaking into dance, he loves having fun.

BRYANT VILLEGAS

Physical Therapy Assistant

Bryant Villegas holds a dual degree in Kinesiology in the disciplines of Body Mechanics and Sports Psychology From Santa Monica College and West Liberty University. With a robust athletic background, he excelled in football, wrestling, and powerlifting, bringing a deep understanding of physical performance and mental resilience to his work. Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), he also holds credentials in corrective exercise techniques joint manipulation and sports nutrition, enabling him to design and implement effective training and recovery programs. Passionate about optimizing human movement and mental fortitude, Bryant combines evidence-based practices with practical experience to empower athletes and clients to achieve peak performance and overall well-being.

DIEGO RIVERA

Pilates Instructor / Massage Therapist

Diego Rivera is a Pilates instructor/massage therapist here at AMP. He works with clients who need therapeutic exercise and/or massage/manual therapy. Diego has been working in the fitness/PT therapy industry since 2008. He is passionate about wellness, nutrition/supplementation and mind/body awareness. Some of his favorite activities are weight training, cooking and going to the movies. Diego finds that the most rewarding aspect about his job is to see clients move and feel better. 

JUSTIN COOK

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Justin Cook is a nationally certified Pilates professional specializing in corrective exercise and functional movement. With a BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts and over a decade of experience studying under world-renowned practitioners, he brings a deep understanding of anatomy, motor control, and movement mechanics to the rehabilitation setting.

ANDREW CORTEZ

PT Aide

Hi my name is Andrew, I’m the PT Aide here at AMP.  I help clients get warmed up and help instruct them through certain exercise programs.  I have years of experience in weight lifting and sports conditioning, I love to see people challenging themselves and reaching there goals. I love to go fishing and explore the beautiful nature the world has to offer! . My favorite exercise to teach clients is the bird dog which helps train balance , core and coordination!  
Favorite exercise - anything involving the Pilates reformer!

JANSYN WILLIAMS

Pilates Instructor 

Jansyn is a classically trained Pilates instructor dedicated to making restorative, rehabilitative movement accessible to all. She combines classical technique with an athletic approach that supports long-term strength and mobility. Her work centers on helping clients reconnect with their bodies and move with confidence.

BRANDON
MCLAURIN

Performance Recovery & Mobility Therapy

Brandon is a former Division 1 athlete and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton. He has been a personal trainer for over 7 years, working with a wide range of clients from athletes focused on performance to older adults improving strength, mobility, and overall quality of life. Brandon's background also includes rehabilitation-focused training, tissue work, and stretch therapy to help clients move better, recover faster, and stay pain-free.
